Series - Hormigueros
(2010 - 2015)
This series of sculptures were made from the ant hills that in the rainy season build the red ants from the yungas area of Jujuy. Then in the dry season they are abandoned and they dry up and consolidate.
They can be large depending on the consistency of the clay soil with which they were built, I was collecting them from August to October and then they were cooked at 1040 ° C with added enamels and glass to promote its consolidation.
