The Virgin of the Copita - VDLC

The mantle of the VDLC is constructed from the discarded material uniting "the disposable", nylon bags metaphorizing the woman as a "discard" resulting from the sexist violence exerted on our bodies. A "virgin" eroticized by the desire to deconstruct the religious burden of obedient silence to cry out for the rights of all.
The VDLC inhabits the body itself; opens the way to the right to enjoyment, determined to deconstruct violent and oppressive relationships on dissident bodies. VDLC knows about the rights of women and other groups, to conquer new demands. She is a giver of pleasures, beauty and militant joy.

I am a performer, actress, playwright, director and theater teacher. Graduated in theater from the UNT. PG in Dramaturgy by UNC. I obtained Scholarships for Study and Trainers from the FNA. I also study and teach techniques of human movement and somatic education.
I have lived in Jujuy for 27 years and, through teaching and theater, I try to deconstruct the patriarchy and colonialism in force in our province, addressing gender, diversity and violence prevention content.
